Yallingup Surf Company was established in the summer of 1996 by four people well-known in the surfboard manufacturing industry.  Today it is wholly owned and operated by remaining partner Boyd Purdy. Specialising in custom made shortboards and longboards, all are made in-house with the aim of producing a quality product at an affordable price.  When ordering a board you are talking to the shaper and can have all your questions answered by the person making your board.

As well as the Yallingup Surf Co. label, Boyd also manufactures Hot Buttered labelled boards under contract with the Hot Buttered Company from the northern beaches of Sydney.
